@Judy: Yes, no matter how long I write on the internet, I'll always fall again into the trap of thinking that ironic or sarcastic inflection carries, such that in this case the reader hears, "Enjoy (in the sense of being acutely reminded of how frequently the only "empowerment" available has amounted to "internalizing as self-loathing the sweeping prejudices of the patriarchy, but being really saucy and spunky about it.)…" Edit. :^)
