Short version of my response: I very much like the idea of a Bible translation that is subject to the Wiki’s ways.

If this attracted real heavyweight scholars who would air their dirty translation laundry in public, it would be fascinating. I could see myself becoming obsessed. But if it’s just going to be evangelicals flaming each other, forget it.
What are scholars supposed to do with a translation? Just read it in Hebrew.
